Monday Night
Wonderful time today organizing all the supplies we brought down and then meeting the teachers at the school we'll be working with for our English classes. GREAT food at every meal! This evening we went on a Haitian garden and home tour. It was SO fun. We were broke up into separate groups with Haitian guides. We saw plantain crops, sugar cane crops, millet crops, goats, pigs, horses, sheep and goats! Every home we went to the were so grateful to have us stop by even greeted with a Haitian kiss!
I even even ate sugar cane straight from the field! LOTS of great pictures and I am going to try and post them yet tonight if I can. The internet isn't allowing all that I had planned to do but that is OK!
